About Mark Melchiori

Hello, my name is Mark Melchiori. Thank you for stopping by my website. This site is a resource for you, the Racers and Fans, to view my photography and choose the images that will fill your needs. I have been into motorsports photography for 25 years. At first I started shooting for myself mostly for reference photos for the model cars that I like to build. I soon realized that I really enjoyed the challenge of getting the perfect shot. In the year 2000 I had the opportunity to become the track photographer at the Hales Corners Speedway. I did that for almost two years before leaving that position to explore other avenues. In 2005 I became the track photographer at the Lake Geneva Raceway and did that in 2005 and 2006, when the track closed down. In 2007, I became the official photographer of the Big-8 Late Model Series. I also did work in 2007 for the Mid-American Stock Car Series.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of shooting racing events at many tracks including the Milwaukee Mile, Road America, Rockford Speedway and many others. My work has been published in FasTrax, Late Model Racer, Late Model Digest, National Speed Sport News, Midwest Racing News and others. It is my goal to serve the Racers and Fans with the best photos possible at a good price.

In addition to my photography, I still do build model cars. I currently write reviews for Scale Auto magazine. In the past my building and writing work have been in Fine Scale Modeler, Car Modeler and Model Retailer magazines as well.

Please check out my photo galleries, which will be updated as regularly as possible. If you see something that you like, please visit the order form page. Thank you and I look forward to serving you.
